Indian Cement Companies to Invest $2 Billion in Captive Power Generation
DELHI--July 5, 2012--Researched by Industrial Info Resources India (Delhi, India)--In a bid to reduce dependence on the supply of power from power utilities, cement companies in India have proposed investments of about $2 billion to ramp up their captive power generation base, a move which is expected to reduce their expenses on power up to 30% and ensure a reliable power-supply.
