GALWAY, IRELAND--June 19 , 2012 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) Lithuania has received the thumbs-up from the European Commission (E.C.) on its plans to construct a nuclear power plant at Visaginas.

The decision opens the way for the project to apply for loans from Eurotom or the European Investment Bank (EIB).
