Industrial Construction Starts in Canada Expected to Slip in Third-Quarter 2012

SUGAR LAND--June 11, 2012--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Industrial construction starts in Canada have been somewhat erratic in 2012. The country began the year with a fairly healthy $10.9 billion in construction starts among industrial companies, which was as much a sign of the mild winter as anything else. However, in the second quarter, activity exploded with just less than $26 billion worth of projects beginning construction. Looking ahead to what can be expected in the third quarter, industrial construction starts are expected to slip somewhat, as Industrial Info is tracking only $16.6 billion worth of industrial projects that are currently scheduled for a third-quarter construction start.
