Floating Storage Regasification Facility to Support Industrial Growth in Jamaica
CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--May 30, 2012--Researched by Industrial Info Research Latin America (Córdoba, Argentina)--The government of Jamaica is moving forward with the development of a floating storage regasification facility. Mustang Energy (Houston, Texas) performed the initial feasibility studies for an onshore regasification terminal in Port Esquivel, but since 2009 the floating storage regasification unit (FSRU) technology has been considered the most convenient way for Jamaica to recieve LNG.
